Welcome to the Paul Barry and the Del Reys page. Here is how the Paul Barry and the Del Reys CDs came about. I wanted to go into the studio and do some recording other than the live stuff I did with Barry's Truckers. I contacted Dave Neitzke, probably the best engineer/producer in Milwaukee, to discuss the project. He told me it was the perfect timing because he had some great local players that were currently available. So with a core set of players as the band and several guest players we tackled the first Paul Barry and The Del Reys CD.  I was totally blown away by how good the final CD sounded.  We released the CD in 2005. Well now in 2016 I was getting restless again and wanted to possibly do some more studio tracks. So I contacted Dave Neitzke and this time he suggested that I get in contact with Ryan Rossebo. Ryan was the guitarist on the first Del Rey CD. He had since moved to Nashville and set up his own recording studio and production company.  I sent him sample songs and he said he could definitely help me out. So it was off to Nashville. Ryan hooked me up with some absolutely great session guys. Ryan not only engineered/produced the sessions but he also laid down the killer guitar parts. All the final tracks were sent back to Dave in Milwaukee for final mixing and mastering. You can judge for yourselves but I think Paul Barry and the Del Reys Volume II is one kick butt CD.
